About

A family story

Once upon a time a master chocolatier in Nantes, Richard Petit, was working for a small chocolate factory. Richard’s family and friends often requested that he made artisanal chocolates for them, which he produced during the weekends, in his kitchen, with the help of his his wife, Anette. As the demand for his products grew, he opened his own workshop. His daughter became his apprentice, then his grand-daughter, Aurélie Petit, the new Master Chocolatier and owner of the workshop.

Beyond a family passion, it’s a recognised savoir-faire and family secrets that make the creations of the Palais du Chocolat so delicious.
